If you want to install an open-source MMU kit like thi on your printer, your printer must meet the following requirements: 1. It must be based on the open-source Klipper firmware. If it's factory-installed, you can root it and then install Klipper. 2. The main control board must have at least one USB port for expansion. 3. If necessary, install at least one filament sensor near the extruder (either in front of or behind the drive wheel). 4. If possible, install a filament cutter on the tool head. If a filament cutter isn't available, you can install an optional cutter module to cut off the tip near the MMU encoder to improve your success rate.
If you can find other successful examples of printer modifications to accommodate these open-source MMUs, you should be able to follow their example.

This kit sold by triangle-lab contains all the necessary parts to assemble 14 channels. This kit also comes with a binky encoder by default. Through these MODs, you can make TR feeding more precise and reliable, and reduce the chance of failure as much as possible. This kit utilizes the EASY-BRD control board, which is directly supported by the Happy-Hare software. This kit also has the option of adding Carrot Patch x14 as a spool holder and filament buffer if you need it.
